Library Rules & Regulations
To ensure smooth functioning of the library and to provide a conducive learning environment, all students, staff, and visitors are required to follow these rules:
General Rules
- Students must carry their valid College ID card/Library card to enter the library.
- Maintain complete silence inside the library premises.
- The use of mobile phones, loud conversations, or social networking is strictly prohibited.
- Personal belongings (bags, tiffin, umbrellas, etc.) must be kept outside or at the designated area.
Issue & Return of Books
- Books will be issued for a fixed period; late return will attract a fine/penalty.
- Reference books, journals, magazines, and newspapers are not issued and can only be used inside the library.
- Users are responsible for books issued in their name until they are returned.
Financial Assistance

- Maintain discipline and decorum at all times.
- Eating, drinking, or sleeping inside the library is not permitted.
- Misbehavior with library staff will lead to strict disciplinary action.
Digital & E-Resources
- Computers and internet facilities are for academic purposes only.
- Downloading, gaming, or accessing inappropriate websites is prohibited.
Library Timings
- The library will remain open as per the official schedule notified by the college.
- Books must be returned before closing hours on the due date.
